Ranked among the 50 most influential executives for the Latin American & Caribbean region, Yoni Epstein is the Founding Chairman and CEO of the Caribbean’s largest home-grown customer experience (CX) provider, itel.
With a keen eye for business, Yoni recognized the enormous potential for the Caribbean to compete on a global scale. Starting with the development and management of Sandal’s worldwide contact center operations, with over 20 business units and five different cultures, Yoni left this position to create a new breed of contact center. Originally named Island Outsourcers, itel was started with a strong family-like culture and has grown to over 4,000 employees across nine countries. Yoni is also the Founding President of the Business Process Industry Association of Jamaica (BPIAJ) and sits on the governing board of the Global Services Sector Project, a 5-year project focused on talent up-skilling.

Dr. Ramsaroop
CEO, Guyana Office for Investment
Dr. Ramsaroop is a seasoned senior executive with experience across many fields of expertise, from business to economics and politics. Currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for the Guyana Office for Investment, Dr. Ramsaroop leads efforts in both Foreign Direct Investments (FDI) and Local Content Investments (LCI). He also serves as Guyana’s Chief Investment Officer under the Office of the President of Guyana.
Dr. Ramsaroop is a former US AIR Force Military Officer (retired) and some of his previous roles include, Chairman of RoopGroup Investments (Guyana), Former Chairman and CEO of Evolvent Inc., and Consultant to NASA. A proven entrepreneur with three successful multi-million startups, he is also a celebrated author and associate professor who holds several degrees, including a Ph.D. in Management and Public Policy, and an MBA from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
Kathia Yacaman
EVP, Grupo Karim's
Kathia heads the Marketing and Commercial division for all of Grupo Karim’s companies, both in the textile and real estate division, leading projects such as the Altia Smart City in San Pedro Sula, Honduras. Before joining Grupo Karim’s, Kathia worked for 10 years in the textile industry, holding key positions in companies like Jockey International Inc. She has promoted and placed Honduras as a worldwide outsourcing destination and is responsible for the attraction of world-renowned BPO and call center companies.
Kathia graduated Magna Cum Laude from Loyola University, New Orleans, in Business Administration, with a double major in International Business and Marketing. She also graduated first from her marketing class, receiving the Outstanding Marketing Graduate Award. Kathia is an active member of Grupo Karim’s social responsibility programs and serves as President of the board of directors of Vital Voices Honduras and permanent advisor to the Chamber of Commerce and Industries of Cortés (CCIC).

Gloria Henry

Gloria Henry has an Executive Masters in Business Administration, a Bachelor of Science Degree in Management from Nova Southeastern University, and Occupational Health and Safety Standards training from the world renowned Occupation Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). Gloria is also a trained and licensed securities dealer with the Financial Services Commission.
Prior to joining the staff of the Port Authority of Jamaica, Gloria worked for eleven years with the Development Bank of Jamaica, where she served the western region. She also served as Past President of the Global Services Association of Jamaica. Since assuming her role as PAJ’s Vice-President, BPO and Logistics at the Montego Bay Free Zone, she has increased factory and office space occupancy from 23% and 64%, to 100% and 98% respectively, and is currently spearheading a transition of the facility into a BPO/ICT focused enclave.
Mr. Roderick Cherry
CEO, Invest Saint Lucia
An accomplished senior management executive and holder of an MBA in Strategic Management, Mr. Roderick Cherry brings a wealth of leadership and experience to his role as Chief Executive Officer of Invest Saint Lucia.
With extensive experience in Strategy Development and Strategic Management, Dispute Arbitration, Corporate Governance, and Change Management, Mr. Roderick Cherry has spent 25 years in various management and marketing positions, including Chief Operations Officer, and subsequently, CEO of St. Lucia’s Hotel & Tourism Association, CEO of the National Insurance Property Development & Management Company (NIPRO), Executive Director of the St. Lucia National Conservation Fund, and the Senior Manager for Marketing at ECFH. He has also served on several boards, as former Chairman of the National Conservation Fund, former Commissioner on the Board of the National Telecommunications Regulatory Commission (NTRC) and many others.
